Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. She was a former political hopeful as a host of American television at MSNBC, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, former host and co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball have announced that they will quit the show in May 2021 and launch Breaking Points, a new independent project with Krystal as well as Saagar. Ball is a co-host with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has guest starred on programs such as Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News), and CNN (CNBC). Ball is currently engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball attributes her interest in politics to the reality that she became a mother during the 2008 primaries, and also was able to be able to watch the US presidential election results while living in Jordan. She observed how it affected the citizens of the country and gained an appreciation for US politics' global impact. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 1st district in the year 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. She founded the People's House Project, an organization that promotes Democratic causes in May 2017.
